A serial killer who terrorized Florida with a murderous spree that claimed 10 women in 1984 was put to death Thursday, his execution witnessed by a woman who survived one of his attacks and aided in his capture.
“It is absolutely incredible to be in a community that embraces the arts and allows us to bring this amazing production to life,” said Director Scott Laird, who is the theater, chorus and band director for the school’s middle school.
The Exchange Club of Sebastian donates all proceeds from the tournament to local nonprofit organizations who align with the club’s Pillars of Service: the Prevention of Child Abuse, Americanism, Youth Activities and Community Service.
